Geoff Haden - Chair

A Swansea man born and bred (with Cwmdonkin Park as a regular haunt as a boy,) Geoff has been a life long fan of the Swansea poet. So much so that in 2003 he obtained 5 Cwmdonkin Drive, the poet's birthplace and family home and set about a huge task in restoring the 1914 dated property to what it might of looked like when it was a brand new home.
Geoff is a structural engineer by profession and when asked why he restored the rapidly decaying house he very quickly answers "…because I'm mad - mad about Dylan's writings and mad that I didn't have the chance to restore the house sooner!" The house opened in 2008 for guided house tours, Edwardian dinners and musical and literary events.
Geoff runs also owns at Clyne Farm Centre overlooking Mumbles and is a former chair of Tourism Swansea Bay. He was awarded the Award for Outstanding Services for Tourism in the Swansea area in 2014 with Dylan's birthplace also regularly picking up awards for its 'Visitor Experience.'
